Arusha is a vibrant city in northern Tanzania, often called the gateway to world-famous safari destinations such as Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Mount Kilimanjaro. Set at the foot of Mount Meru, the town enjoys a cool, mild climate and a relaxed atmosphere that mixes local culture, bustling markets and modern services.

Arusha lies about 90 minutes west of Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and sits strategically on the major safari circuit. The city is roughly 1,400 meters above sea level, giving it pleasant temperatures year-round.
