Move into the cool central highlands and forested Aberdare region. The day contrasts mountain scenery and dense forest habitat with opportunities for wildlife viewing around clearings and water sources.
Day 03Lake Nakuru – Game viewing and exploration
Explore Lake Nakuru National Park, a compact Rift Valley sanctuary known for rhino conservation, Rothschild’s giraffe, buffalo and rich birdlife. Game drives combine lakeshore habitats, woodland and scenic viewpoints.
Day 04Maasai Mara – Game viewing and exploration
Spend prime wildlife-viewing hours in the Maasai Mara, following seasonal animal movements across grasslands and riverine areas. Look for lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and, with luck, leopard while your guide interprets behaviour and tracks.
