Yes. Jossy Travel recommends adequate travel and medical insurance, including cover for illness, injury, baggage, cancellation and curtailment.

Use normal travel precautions, avoid unnecessary night walking in large cities, secure valuables, and follow the advice of your safari guide and accommodation staff.
Seek current medical advice before travel. A healthcare professional can advise on malaria prevention appropriate to your itinerary. Reducing mosquito bites with repellent, suitable clothing and mosquito nets is also important.
Tipping is discretionary and a way to recognize good service. Driver-guides, lodge/camp staff, porters and waiters may be tipped according to the quality of service and your preference.
Keep safari luggage practical and compact. Internal scheduled flights may impose strict weight limits, and excess luggage can often be stored in Nairobi by prior arrangement. Soft-sided bags are generally easier to handle in safari vehicles.
General Booking & Travel Conditions
Reservation
A minimum 50% deposit is required when booking. The balance is due no later than 21 days before safari departure. Reservations made within 21 days of departure require full payment.
Itinerary Changes
Safari arrangements may occasionally require equivalent accommodation or routing changes because of availability, road conditions or operational circumstances. We aim to communicate known changes before departure.
Rates & Inclusions
Your final quotation confirms the services included in your safari. Personal insurance, visas, gratuities, beverages unless stated, laundry and other personal expenses are normally excluded unless specifically included.
Passports & Travel Documents
Travellers are responsible for ensuring passports and required travel documentation are valid and in order before departure. Please verify current official entry requirements for your nationality.
Travel Insurance
Travellers should have adequate insurance for the full journey, including illness, injury, baggage, cancellation and curtailment. The choice of insurer remains with the traveller.
